Small-group AQA GCSE Chemistry revision Wednesday evenings 1900-2000
January–June 2027
This structured revision course is designed for Year 11 students preparing for the 2027 AQA GCSE Chemistry examinations.Running from January through to the final examination in June, the course provides regular, focused revision of the key chemistry content alongside calculations, required practicals, data interpretation and exam technique.Rather than simply working through past papers, each session focuses on a particular area of the course. Key ideas are reviewed clearly, worked examples are modelled, and students then apply their understanding through guided practice and exam-style questions.

A planned course that still responds to the students
The course follows a carefully planned timetable to ensure that the key GCSE Chemistry content is covered before the examinations.However, students do not all find the same topics difficult. The programme may therefore be adjusted slightly as the course progresses to reflect the particular strengths, gaps and revision needs of the students in the group.This provides the structure of a planned revision course while retaining one of the main advantages of live tuition: the teaching can respond to the students actually taking part.

Who is the course for?
The course is suitable for Year 11 students studying AQA GCSE Chemistry (8462) who would benefit from regular, structured revision and the opportunity to ask questions and practise applying their knowledge in a supportive small-group environment.It is intended as revision rather than first teaching, so students should already have encountered the topics through their normal GCSE course. The aim is to strengthen understanding, address gaps and build confidence for the summer examinations.
Course dates
The course begins in January 2027 and runs on Wednesday evenings through to the final Chemistry examination in June, with breaks for school holidays.
Course Fee
£250 for the complete January–June revision programme
The course fee can be paid in two instalments of £125.
The fee covers all 18 live revision sessions, supporting course materials, practice questions and independent revision activities.
